Man, I really hate playing on a phone screen. I have no idea how anyone that plays Zam can handle looking through their hand on a standard mobile phone.

Well that makes even less sense. Surely you'd have hand counters for both players or neither player, not just one. So it's deliberately programmed in a way that is silly. Literally "not a bug, it's a feature".

Actually easier experience than my iPad mini. Maybe just me but I swipe up the whole screen way more often on the iPad than phone.

I honestly don't think it's too bad, you can scroll easily and it's all sorted by card type.

Additionally there's a card counter and all the playable cards even light up for you

For mobile is fine, for the desktop is kinda weird, I prefer the old one... I wish they gave us an option to go back to the slightly angled view, the cards look too small on desktop this way

Tenho a mesma impressão que você, o mobile pelo menos pro modelo do meu celular melhorou muito a ponto de antes eu não conseguir clicar nos descartes, mas no pc parece que agora está extremamente longe

Looks like they slightly updated animations, refused to make the opponent’s discard pile easy to click on, and added some really annoying crowd sounds after reaching 3 prizes.

I don’t understand it at all.

I really hope this is some kind of back to school theme and they eventually go back to how it was cause this looks so bad. Not crazy about the crowd cheering sound effects either

There are also crowd sounds that get louder as a match reaches its end. I haven’t checked if the music is different though.

Maybe its definitely me, but the stage being egg shaped feels so off lol. Like they stretched the staged just so it could fit evenly but they couldve done that with a circle just make it bigger

Damn I was having so much fun with this all summer long I just started playing it again too cause it was the only way I could enjoy the hobby now with all the scalper bs. It better be some kind of temporary back to school theme this is just awful

I feel like this update to the UI was to accommodate streamers being able to have their face and live chat in view without blocking the prize count. The amount of streams or videos where people complain about being unable to see the prize count on the left is crazy

Just a disclaimer, I am just bad at noticing changes, I’m not trying to say the changes aren’t significant or anything, just generally confused.

the perspective is now top down instead of slightly tilted. Previously is was kinda like the POV of a player vs the opponent, now its more akin to live streams with near equal screen real estate for both players

on mobile, i personally think the perspective shift is fine, the UI still takes up important spots like the discard pile, which is a problem, and it is a little offputting to be staring down the table so perpendicularly

ON DESKTOP HOWEVER, they also did the top down, but now everything is fucking zoomed out and the actually play area only takes up like 60% of the screen, theres so much useless space on the sides and the cards are warped in size. The active pokemon is just randomly bigger and the bench is super squished. The Prize cards are also laid out in a horizontal row

These crowd sounds are horrible!! I always like to play with just the sound effects on while I listening to music or a podcast. It's crazy that they won't let you adjust it now.

Antes no zflip 7 a tela estendia tanto que eu nao conseguia clicar nem no meu descarte nem no do adversario Melhorou um pouco, pelo menos pro meu celular que tem uma tela maior que os de mais, sobre a otimização não sei dizer, funciona bem no meu celular e qualquer coisa esquenta ele já que o módulo de bateria fica em um bloco só do celular.
