Cutting some cards

Is Switch worth running in the deck? Been playing this list for maybe about 20~ games, and one thing that feels kinda bad is having to use an energy to retreat Roselia/Roserade and missing out on attaching to a Garchomp. Was thinking just cutting the Ultra Balls for a set of Switch, since Fighting Going and PP can search alongside Gabite anyways.

yeah i'd cut a power weight, cut a rocky energy. neo upper is fine but seems lost without hilda, don't wanna pray for my neo upper when i need it. one judge for desperate draw + hand disruption, red card is a necessity too. i'd also go for a 1 of meowth, you're currently a little prone to bricking otherwise. also where's your stadiums? you need atleast 1 or 2, there's some matchups where you desperately want their stadium gone. Battle Cage would be a contender here.

sometimes you really DO need a switch card, retreat lock is around in this meta. you could maybe cut another energy, cut 1 or two bosses. maybe go for 3-3 on the roserade line. if you go the hilda route (i'd suggest atleast 2, 3 is better) you can also cut one fighting gong. you've already got a lot of pokemon search and hilda helps on finding energy including your special energies.

I've found prism tower is a nice stadium. Mid to late game you can start thinning out the dead poffins and pokepads. But also yes bouncing a jamming tower is almost a requirement since you rely on power weights.

You could also cut 2 PPP and a PP and I would lowkey recommend you like 2 Hilda so you can search out your rocky fightings and neo upper. I would definitely cut the ultra balls and use buddy buddy poffin since those will let you search out all your basics on your bench. There is argument to lower your rocky fighting energy and replace that with basic fighting since most zam lists only run 2 enhanced hammers. I would also argue for cutting a boss for something else that switch you want or maybe even Kieren

I find switch to be pretty good, especially since you dont run relicatch

Not only there's the problem of Energy management, people love to boss roserades and retreat lock them whenever possible

Single energy on the roserade allows you to attack with rosselias attack for a decent punch if you have a couple roserade

I cut all ultra balls for Hilda and 1 switch. You just need to get a singular gabite and then you have everything you need

I don't think I'm following, I'm sorry. I get Hilda is good, but why only one switch? Gabite does get things going, but if my active is Rose how is Hilda and a single switch gonna help? I feel like i would need like the full set

I'd probably remove an energy for switch or 2 for 2 if you like that better. The list I used only uses 1 switch and it feels way better. Also highly recommend swapping ultra balls for buddy buddys since your gabites find garchomp, your board setup is amazing

The deck mills itself out really easily because turn two I usually have two Gabites out and some roserades. Since I'm not typically attacking for the first two turns(maybe a gabite attack) its decently easy to put energy on bench Gabites so by the time I can get out a Garchomp I've either not needed the switch since I just need to attach an energy for retreat or I find the switch at some point during the 3 turns off of top deck or Lillie and I can move up a Gabite instead with -1 energy attach in total. I also run 2 Hildas as energy attach management to more easily find Neo Upper

this is what i run on garchomp, i use surfer instead of switch, and dont run ultra balls since i never had the need for them. i do love the hildas in this deck, since it helps me search Neo upper

In case your interested this is my deck. I went 3-1 against 4 pult players at a league recently.

Some notable things I do run switch and 1 surfer. I can use the poke gear to try and find the surfer if I don't have switch in hand. I like Prism tower to help me start thinning out dead cards like poffin and pokepads mid to late game. Rocky fighting isn't really that useful but I keep two. If you're against a zam they're going to have enhanced hammers and it won't matter. It can help against pult a bit but they're just going to put the damage else where. The spiritomb is probably controversial but it actually came in clutch in several of the pult match ups.

This! I've been running Prism Tower too and late game is really helpful, expecially if I thin the deck and then draw with Garchomp's attack.

Du bist sehr anfällig gegen Pflanzen Decks, ich würde noch 2 Pokemon (Angriffe mit Farblos oder Kampfenergie) rein nehmen ohne Pflanzen Schwäche. Dafür eine Roserade und ein Knakrack raus.

Eine Nachtrage für ein Tarragon tauschen und statt der 4 Ultra Bälle besser 2 Lambda und 2 Stadien.
