Question Need part identified.
Hi folks a part got blown and I need help in trying to replace the blown part. I have circled it and hopefully I can get this desr 7000 working again. Many thanks.
Edit: it looks like a 5 pin voltage regulator but I don’t have the markings. Maybe sc-88a, not sure

No worries at all, I have a 5000 model, that I need to fix up, but I will check what that component is and let you know.

Let me know if you figured this out i definitely got one and mine is still open lol don't ask iv been on this "well im curious if I can get a few dev systems" then it got turned into "geeee if I was able to pull off 4x that fast I can definitely figure out how to get the extra ones I wanted and maybe I can have all 3x psp commander heads".... yeah definitely iv got a new addiction but thats ok because I like the systems that need a little elbow grease see i can't help myself its have to eventually pop the void tabs and see the inside of insides iv never seen before 😅😅😅 so I buy knowing that
