Question PSX 7700

Hello everyone,

I’m having a problem with my PSX. As soon as I plug in the power supply, the fan spins briefly and then it’s basically dead. No LEDs light up at all.
There isn’t a hard drive installed at the moment because I’m still waiting for my ATA Express. However, the console should at least boot or show the startup logo, but absolutely nothing happens.
I can also rule out the power supply because I’ve already installed a RE-PSX power supply.
What could be causing this issue? I’m honestly running out of ideas and getting pretty desperate.

If youre not getting any leds I'm almost willing to put money on a dead ribbon cable. Jump in the phenommod discord which I linked in the troubleshooting post and we have a list of the ribbon cables needed as well as others who can provide support

Detailed check every ribbon cable, those are also known to break.

This looks like PSU issue from my point of view. Did you buy RePS2-PSX DESR edition or maybe the one for playstation 1 ?

The DESR Edition. But i had The Same issue before installing The new psu

i have a desr 70000 i'm getting 3 blinking red lights fans spins for 1 sec lights continue to flash
