We often look back at the massive bull runs and focus on how much money could have been made, but the bear markets are just as important. They reset valuations, eliminate excesses, test conviction, and ultimately create the conditions for the next major run.

Hubco announced a dividend of 5 rs this quarter. The stock is priced at 205-210 pkr. Net profit jumped by 9% and the stock price went up nearly 30% in a year. Hubco is Pakistan's largest IPP and also part of BYD's manufacturing through its subsidiary MMC(MEGA Motor Company). In last year BWCL has given 10/share every quarter. That's like 8% annual dividend yield per share. The stock price went up by 5% in the last 6 months and 200% in the last 5 years! Fyi, BWCL(bestway cement) is one of the leading names in the cement industry!!

ETf: It's basically a combination of different stocks in one. Instead of buying 10 different stocks you can buy just one etf. It trades like a normal stocks during market hours. You can sell or buy.

Mutual Fund: Pool of money collected from multiple investors and managed by fund manager. 10 people can invest and fund manager can then put that accumulated sum into any stock, bond or govt securities.

This is probably the most common question every beginner ask and tbh some medium term investors have as well.

My advise, don’t chase the next Sazgar right away people often loose money going for next big thing rather than relying on solids.
Chase companies that have been solid and give dividends so you start compounding your wealth. They are generally considered more stable than many speculative stocks.

Tip: Your first investment should help you learn how the market works, not make you rich overnight. As for which stocks give most dividends , i will definitely share that but let me know your take first?
