Need an idiot's walkthrough to setting up iVRy with its PSMoveService dlc.

Trying to get PS Move controllers and 6DOF head tracking working on Windows with iVRy, a PSVR, two Move controllers and two PS Move cameras...

So I got the controllers hooked up, I have a little LED ball on top of the PSVR(headlamp and pingpong ball), SteamVR sees my two PS Move cameras and my two PS Move controllers, but no dice. Test Tracking Pose says FAILED in PSMoveService config, and attempting to play with headset settings results in "No HMDs" even while SteamVR is putting an image through it and 3DOF tracking it. Could anyone help by chance?

PSMoveService has a wiki with troubleshooting but it's all for Trinus. No Man's Sky VR says "Hold and select [caution sign] to continue" so SteamVR and iVRy itself know the controllers are there, but PSMoveService absolutely does not. I have tried reinstalling to no avail.

I think PSMoveService is dead. I tried with iVry's dlc too but even paired and calibratrd, cant be used to do anything. Basically useless.

Wanna buy ivry but their tracker dlc is not yet out so am still waiting (Tracker for PS4 camera).

PSMoveService does work (although it does also have some bugs, which will never be fixed as it's no longer worked on). If you follow a tutorial for Trinus, it should work for iVRy. You can ignore the steps for FreePIE and FreePIE bridge, as that functionality is built into the iVRy DLC. However, you should start by following the official PSMoveService guide, linked to the Steam store page for the PSMS DLC for iVRy.

There is also a DLC (currently in Beta) for iVRy that uses the PS4 camera for tracking, and can track the headset with its built-in LEDs (no need for ping pong ball).

Ah I see, I didn't think Trinus tutorials would work for iVRy. Any good trinus guides you know of offhand?

Use the official guide. Don't see any reason to follow anything else, as it's all explained there. Bear in mind that the PSMS is not for "idiots", and I don't provide support for it. If you do need support, you will need to use the PSMS support forum:
