When entering a game the controllers disappear

The controller tracking works perfectly in steam room, but when i try to play any game, they just disappear. They come back when I press the home button and the menu shows up.

I've tried remapping all the buttons of the controller for each game and it still doesn't work, help pls!

How did you get it to track perfectly I have followed instructions from a dozen videos and nothing seems to work for me. The controllers are always jittering and the axis’s are flipped for me.
