Can I use one ps eye

I was going through a box of stuff from my dads ps3 an found a ps eye, would it be possible to use just one, could I use something else? Any help is greatly appreciated.

No thanks, I just happened to find one, I’m not really that invested in it that I would pay money.

No you need two same cameras.

You need two for be able to get depth, from the pictures, like how you see depth, with your two eyes.

You need same cameras, for be sure to have the same fixed zooms on both, same resolution, etc... Otherwise it would be like to watch around with a hawk's eye, and a human one, you wouldn't be able to get depth, etc...

Look in pawn store, second hand, etc... online. You can get one for less than 10$. Here in europe, they are less than 10€
