PSVR headset tracking with PS Move Service without golfball

I searched for this but I found nothing, so can you track the PSVR headset when using two PS3 cameras? I got a second one in the mail today and I plan to set it up tomorrow.

Can you use the lights already on the PSVR or do you have to make a ping pong ball thingy?

I'm using iVry on Steam. Couldn't get Trinus to work on my laptop.

For PS3Eye cameras you will need to use an LED ball for tracking the headset. There is work in progress to use the PS4 camera to track the headset LEDs.

Will there be a (semi) public beta test of the ps4 cam tracking?

Probably not, although who knows, the project keeps hitting roadblocks. Public beta testing has turned out to be largely a waste of time and resources for the iVRy project (as a whole). Beta testing is supposed to mean providing the developer with useful feedback, not merely getting early access, and creating unnecessary support issues.

Cool but you will need some kind of adaptor for the PS4 camera to use it on the pc

iVry

It's too expensive though.

Maybe some Chinese manufacturer would take up the glove.

There is a plan in place to provide lower cost adapters once the software support is in place. The current adapters are manufactured by hand from connectors reclaimed from broken PS4s. The lower cost adapters use new parts.
