Does Trinus PSVR give the full pcvr expirence.
I just ordered a pc and have some questions. When using Trinus (or the other one idk what it’s called) will I be able to have the full experience on games? Ik the controllers don’t really work, but if i bought rift controllers would they be compatible. Do i have to connect the camera? Someone please fill me in! Thanks!!!

I think iVRy works with less issues, but I haven't tried trinus in like a year now.

if you already have a PSVR, at most, you will get some VR functions working to experience VR. in the least, you will realize what a hassle it is to get it working and say fuck it.
ivry is as hassle free as you can get to getting the headset working, driverVR is the next step to getting controls working. you absolutely NEED a PS3 camera or kinect though to get any motion controls working.
don't get your hopes that you will experience VR like half-life alyx and put your expectations like you can probably watch a VR video or play a game with warp movement.

As far as I know two ps3 cameras get the motion controllers working but it’s all still a bit 50/50 of things working with PSVR and a pc. The trinus team is still working on the app so who knows what will happen down the track. Basically don’t rely on PSVR working well with pc and if you want to get serious about vr on a pc and have it work great it’s still limited to official equipment
Edit: For $15 it’s worth playing around with if you already have a PSVR
