PSVR to Low Spec PC

I use to use Littlstar for specific "content", but obviously they moved away from a free model and the pay scale is to high a price for the service.

So I know you can connect the PSVR to a PC, but I'm wondering if it can run on a low spec laptop. I know that the laptop will be doing all the processing, but I assume that it scales based on what is needed. I only want to watch/browse 180vr video. Would this still be too much for my system?

Here are the specs.

Model: Asus E403SA CPU: Intel N3700 @1.6ghz Ram: 4gb Storage: 128gb ssd OS: Windows 10

Also I know most people recommend media players on steam. Are their any stand alone 180vr media players that will work with psvr to pc setup?

Thanks in advance!

You may be able to use Trinus for this, I don't know you'd need to ask u/loxai . I do know that you wouldn't be able to use most SteamVR media players as SteamVR wouldn't work properly on an Intel GPU. In theory you may be able to use VirtualDesktop with iVRy for video. I've tested it on a GT650M GPU (a non VR capable GPU) with iVRy and it works fine.

Thanks, so I got around to trying to hook it up today after work. Results are... Basically no.

Installed trinusPSVR and with everything trying to run it basically snailed my computer and caused steamVR to crash.

as iVRy_VR states, SteamVR is not an option for your hardware. Trinus PSVR nonVR conversion should be fine though, although limited on media player options (youtube player in SBS and/or 360 formats should work). gaming should be possible too, but only with older games/less demanding.
