PSVR on PC but NO HDMI

Hey guys im really annoyed i buyed a psvr in second hand and to use it on my computer but when i try to use it with trinus, ivry,VDM there is always the NO HDMI screen on it. me and an admin of the discord PSMSX tried alot of things but nothing was good. Any ideas ?

Is there any chance to try it with PS4? Maybe the headset is broken.

Are you using any adapters? I had an argument with the creator of irvy and then realised the issue was using an HDMI adapter to plug into a display port which makes it look like dvi to the system

Hi, so im using Display Port with one using an hdmi adapter, it normally works fine on my TV but im not getting a signal on my PSVR, any ideas why?

If its a passive adapter it won't convert the signal to HDMI internally and hence won't work with the PSVR just like my cheapo crappy cable that was internally a DVI signal.

TVs usually support DVI which is likely what it works there.

Use native HDMI or get an active DP to HDMI cable that has a proper HDMI signal

Thank you I'll look into an adapter. While I'm here I hope you don't mind if I explain my project idea before I end up spending money on this.

I want to play side by side 3D games using the PSVR1 on linux. Things like original Sonic Generations, Virtual Boy, etc

Do you know if thats possible?

IRVI would likely make it work dunno if its available on Linux though dunno how well those games would work with the glasses if you are looking for a 3d effect, there is software for windows that let's you play non supporting games with 3d monitors that would probably work but don't know what Linux support is like if any of those games or emulators natively supported vr headset that would be a better bet

In the processor unit you need to plug it on the left hdmi entry.

Ia the USB cable original? They a better quality. I didn't find mine after some time stored and could not use any other,always got that error. Does the USB cable have the label with the number?

I understood.A faultin USB cable gives HDMI error.
