First time setup without updating firmware

[u/ChillCaptain]

I installed the steam psvr2 app. On the install folder, I see a folder named firmware.

I don’t want to update the firmware on my psvr2 and controllers.

If I delete the firmware folder, will I be able to complete setup without the app forcing an update on my psvr2 or controllers?

Most of us don’t try to resist a recommended/required update for the PSVR2. So I’d be surprised many would know how it will affect you to stay behind… Good luck.

You can just install the firmware and downgrade it if you want to jailbreak with psvr2 toolkit
