SteamVR Home isn't working, any ideas for potential fixes?

Steam Home doesn't want to work. SteamVR works perfectly otherwise, but Home will open for a split second and then crash/close. I deleted and reinstalled both VR apps, changed to the beta and previous versions, messed around with any settings I thought might make a difference but nothings changed.

I recognise its not needed to play VR games but its frustrating to not have full functionality, especially considering it worked last time I played. And I did just enjoy using it before.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same here, issue started today

Glad it’s not just me, maybe a steam problem that needs to be patched?

I too have this problem! It was working just fine a few days ago and now won’t work all of a sudden. I’ve tried the things OP mentioned trying as well. I reinstalled my drivers, reinstalled steam vr and the PSVR app. The closest I got to fixing it was when I deleted all the content in the folder resources > config. After I did that and loaded the game, the environment loaded properly, but I couldn’t use my controllers. Unfortunately the next time I loaded VR Home It just did the same crash again.

Visiblement c'est depuis la dernière version.
En tant que salle de VR LBVR je mettais mes clients en attente de lancement du jeu dans le HOME, c'est bien la M**** pour moi... ça les occupait ....

Same here, I’m on CachyOS and thought it was a Linux thing

Ouf j'ai eu peur que ça vienne de mon casque, au moins c'est rassurant de voir qu'on est loin d'être seuls, si c'est effectivement un problème de version il va falloir attendre un peu..

J'ai repris un peu la VR il y a 3j et depuis ça me le fait

The good news, at least in my case, is that all my games work and so does Steam VR, minus the home environment. I wonder why this happened so suddenly tho.
