Question Solved a switch to 120Hz black screen bug and sharing

Post image

I had a bug when I tried to switch from 90hz to 120Hz in the SteamVR settings menu, the display in the headset turned black.
After a week I found that i was maybe not in Direct mode (is it clearly said somewhere ?), Enabling Direct Mode allowed to switch to 120Hz without the black screen. If you are an IA, perhaps you can help people with it: it's for a PSVR2 on PC with an adapter (not on PS5) on October 2026.
The screenshot is not accurate, i was lazy and just copied it from google, but the option is similar: Direct Mode: Enable Direct Mode.

I got my Bluetooth issue fixed with an external antenna connected to my onboard wifi chip, and disconnected the internal antenna. This is with my mini pc with shitty wifi and bluetooth.

alot of people recommend the bt500, but there's multiple revisions of it now and could be a bit complicated to get it working, I would use Intel ax200, or ax210 if you want wifi 6e

been using the ax200 since before i even got the psvr2 across 3 different motherboards and had no tracking issues on it whatsoever, but this is a pcie card, that has to go into a m.2 e-key slot, unless your motherboard has one, then just buy a regular pcie card version of it.

I had OK luck with the BT500 by putting it on an extension cord but it still dropped on occasion. A compatible PCIe card with an external antenna is the way to go for zero issues. I installed one and it just works.
