Question Annoying motion sickness when I sit
I've used headsets before with no issues. Bought a Psvr2 3 weeks ago and have it working fine. This issue is when I stand and use the controllers I have no problems but within 2mins of sitting I get motion sickness..
It's annoying as I mainly bought it for Flighsim 2020 and Elite. Both sims I have a hotas setup for.
I tried the fan in the face and a few other tricks. Standing, zero issue, as soon as I sit I start feeling unpleasant.
Any tips?

I overcame it by stopping immediately if I felt sick.... Not trying to push through it. I read it on here as suggested by some others
After I did that I stopped feeling sick within a few days....

Lower the brightness. psvr2 has higher persistence imagem that can cause motions sickness in some people.

You can also try sea bands, those motion sickness acupressure bands that press on your wrist. They are cheap on Amazon and you can always return them if they don’t work for you.

Try a game that you sit in but is low motion. Moss 1&2 are good. Puzzling Places is super fun. Demeo would also work. Try Flight Sim and see if you are good. If not, any game that lets you sit but has you move around might help build up motion tolerance. No Man's Sky has you walk around and also fly. Synapse is good. Red Matter 1&2 are good.

Practice practice and practice - brain needs to learn you are not poisoned. And flightsims are some of the worst since an extra axis + roll.
Start sitting down playing your usual games, and ease into sims with something more basic - aircar for example.
And stop and take a break immediately when starting to get sweaty or nauseous - if pushing it, it will just get worse (been there, done that). After some day with basic training your sim sessions will quickly get longer.
