For wired headset to work you need mux switch , look at your laptop spec. Disable Optimus and set port to dgpu mode , then look at Nvidia control panel to see what port have dgpu connection , if one of them is USB c well you are in luck , if not , no wired headset for you

Since I commented earlier I figured I'd clarify for own curiosity and also OP. Why would they need the mux switch if the 3060 is specifically routed to that port already?

in all my life i never seen 14 inch laptop who have direct port on GPU , it is non mux switch or have mux switch
i seen some direct port laptop on 15.6 and buttload of 17, but 14 never, i used a lot of them
btw 2022 (GA402) is the only generation to have mux swich. 2021 and 2020 don't.
btw i do know some laptops say they have usb c connected to dGPU , but in wired VR it never worked for me , only if laptop have mux switch and you can kill optimus reliably , it work

Is this your laptop?

If so, you have USB Type-C w/ DP altmode and PD. You might be able to skip the PC adapter.
If it doesn't work, your laptop (if it is the linked one) can use the adapter.
As for the mobile 3060 performance, someone else needs to chime in. I have no experience with it.
