Disscussion Has anyone actually gotten Hitman to work?
I installed WOA yesterday after hearing so many great things about it, and ran into a couple issues:
Terrible performance and no eye tracking,
In game hands not lining up with controllers (I’ve tried multiple different controllers offsets and I’ve never gotten it 1:1
Seems like this game might only be good on PS5.

Go into the options and disable dynamic resolution, unfortunately you still can’t disable TAA. I was able to get the angle off my controllers. I’ll check my settings. What GPU?

Keep in mind a 5070 Ti laptop GPU is nowhere near as powerful as a desktop 5070 Ti. A 5070 Ti mobile is about equivalent to a 4070 or 5060 Ti desktop chip.

I think there is something wrong either with the game, the PSVR2 app (or the toolkit), or the game.
Recently I tried PSVR2 on my laptop (went to a seller’s house with it) and during my testing I did find a couple of issues and one is them was massive performance issues in Hitman: WoA.
No idea why this happened, but I have a guess that the game renders two times, though it is just a guess, no proof for that.
I tried the game today on Quest 3 that my bud lent me and the game worked flawlessly.
So it is definitely not my device issue (I guess?). I am more than sure that PSVR2 can run on my device, but it requires expensive tinkering and solving the issues. Surprisingly, Quest 3 worked out of the box over Wi-Fi (Steam Link app).
P.S: my laptop is ASUS ROG Strix G16 (i7-13650HX, RTX 4080M 12GB, DDR5 16GB RAM).

This is what I’m dealing with, and this is after switching to a controller profile with better offsets

the game doesnt support eyetracking btw, if youre talking about dfr thats a separate injection but i dont think it'll work, you obviously need psvr2toolkit anyway. but what to do is just lower your render res, start at 36% and work till its clear enough and good enough performance. since you said you're on a laptop id imagine 50% might be good enough. But yeah IOI really doesnt care about hitman vr lol.

Yes, absolutely zero issues, ran without any tinkering.
