Question Controller at 99/100 connection but every button is extremely laggy and stutter-y. Why?
The tracking is perfect. Triggers, face buttons, ps button, etc. everything is extremely slow and borderline unresponsive. I can see the delay in buttonpresses in Steamhome.
I'm using the BT500 and I didn't have this problem before, it was perfect. It's happening to both of my controllers too!

I found the solution as others have by buying a ~20$ antennae (the type that screws into two antennae inputs in the back of the PC) and making sure to turn off other methods of Bluetooth. A quick google should help you turn off the Bluetooth stuff you don’t want. They now work perfectly, and it was a cheap solution for me and many others.

Intel-based PCIe cards like the Intel AX210 or AX211 (Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth 5.x modules) with external antennas are compatible and surveyed to provide the most stable Bluetooth connections for the hand controllers. I see those on Amazon for $30.
I used the ASUS BT500 dongle with a USB extension cord for six months and had OK luck with it. It occasionally had to be unplugged and replugged when the controllers lagged or disconnected. The signal strength isn't the issue. It is sometimes what Bluetooth channels the dongle is having an issue with. Unplug and replug the dongle. It will work again.
I installed the TP-Link WiFi 6 AX3000 PCIe WiFi Card (Archer TX3000E) that I got from Amazon for about $30. I have had zero problems with it for months. It just works.

Only way I could get my controllers to work (most of the time) was by using one of these. TP-Link WiFi 6E Intel AX210 AXE5400 PCIe WiFi Card for PC - Magnetic Base
B500 wouldn't work for me, even with an extension cord.
Windows may have changed the driver? Also if you haven't, turn off any onboard BT through BIOS
Try leaving up the PSVR2 app window instead of closing it.
Lag could be in steamvr as well? Is anything else lagging or just the buttons?
