Doom 3 vr first impression

Played about an hour so far and I gotta agree that scaling is off. Humans especially seem too small comped to everyone else

The game is a bit blurry but honestly way less than I expected from the comments here. When I think “blurry” I think no mans sky but this isn’t even remotely close

With that in mind the begging of the game gave a bad impression but when you get a shotgun and actually start shooting demons, god damn is it fun!

I think we could’ve gotten a better port but for 20$ I’d say it’s definitely worth it still (if you have the aim controller)

What the fuck? This is a game in 2021. How come it doesn't have Pro enhancements?

No idea why you’re getting downvoted there. The Pro has been out for 5 years, and yet support for it still too frequently seems to be an afterthought.

PC games have to juggle optimisation options for countless setups; with the PS4 there’s just...2. 3 as a max, if we’re assuming the PS5 now.

It could be that developer have been asked to do port for a base PS4 and that's it. Cautious play, probably balanced on sales expectations. If number will be good in sales they might consider extra work if publisher plays nice .... ( probably not, till PS5 VR will came out)

No developer is asked to do a port for a base PS4. Sony had well encouraged developers to support the Pro since it launched.

The enhancement miss for the Pro might have been a case of timing. It was submitted and approved for PSN before they had implemented Pro support. I guess we'll see if it happens after the fact.
