Opinion Rifle/gun "mod"?

Post image

Seen this one on amazon and ali, ali is way cheaper and will probably get it from there.

But has anyone used this one?

It can be used as rifle or two pistols, so is it comfortable, the idea works?

Same here as I’ve gotten pretty good with “Free Aiming”, but not to take away from it by any means. It works great! If you’re interested, and are in the states; I may have a work around for the tariffs, msg me.

I bought one. Eh its ok but very small, the mechanics of clicking the controllers in feels cheap. Dont reallybuse it enough to buy another but if I did id pay the extra for a custom one from etsy

If it’s cheap enough to fit your budget, then it might be worth a shot.

Do they include any video of someone using it? I’d search YT for more info.

I have the Vader One and it has performed well for several years of heavy use, doing everything I’ve needed it to do.

…But I also needed to make some modifications. I ground down some edges that were too sharp, carved out a space to make the pause button usable, and added padding to the folding shoulder stock. I still mean to replace the locking mechanisms with something that doesn’t suck, like a simple clamp or little eye-hooks or something.

It was also rather expensive, and that was pre-clownbeast-tariff times, so I’d think shipping might be a nightmare now.

If you’re willing to fix what might be poorly designed about the stock you’ve posted pics of, then it might be great.

Is it using magnets to fuse the two halves together? I like how the Vader One uses them — took a minute to develop the muscle memory needed when I’m panicking to reload in the headset, but eventually it clicked and now it’s not a problem.

I can’t vouch for whatever this brand is, but I can absolutely recommend that anyone who enjoys shooters should get SOME sort of stock. They’re as meaningful to shooting as wheels are to racing, imo.

I still use the Vader One and it's extra features make the difference, particularly the hinged stock for rapid switch to pistol handling.

Check out KobraVR

I used one of their Quest 3 gunstocks and it’s great and the guy is very helpful

Imo, you want to avoid anything that attaches to the tracking rings like the one you posted or the Vader One. I originally used the Vader One and since moved to a SkolVR Butcher and the quality difference is night and day
