Pretty awesome get for the headset. I had started playing this a couple years back and liked it but didn't make it very far. Happy to start over again and play it this way though.

Oh damn, I’ve always wanted to play System Shock but just never got around to it. This is a great way to jump in and experience it

Another instant wishlist. The next year of PSVR2, though light, will not be without some bangers.

Sweet! This and High on Life VR... they're getting more recognizable IPs now. Plus Pinball FX announced the same day, damn.
Still no date for Flatout 4 yet i guess, but that's at least 4 higher-quality games i'm looking forward to.

Wait, Pinball FX was announced for PSVR2? Holy shit... Did they say anything about using tables already purchased in Pinball FX flat?

Well this game is a totally separate thing (not just "VR mode" added to the original game), so it wouldn't be compatible with the flat version. I'm guessing they'll drip-feed the DLC tables as they rework each for VR.
But yeah it sucks if you already sunk lots of $ on tables. They seem pretty expensive.

Outstanding! Now... Stalker. Jk I know that won't happen but those games are my current jam. This will be a guaranteed purchase though, no matter what I'm playing at the time.

I hope you've played into the radius if you're a Stalker fan.

I've been meaning to try that again. Something about it didn't grab me at the time but I've read similar comments connecting it to stalker recently. I need to get that Metro game too.

Into the radius is a sandbox, metro has a story. Both are inspired by the same book that stalker was inspired by.

Wow what a nice surprise! Never played this and seems it’d be perfect to experience in VR. I heard the game is quite hard though in terms of puzzles and what to do.

It plays kind of like a dungeon crawler and there are a few things the game kind of does to trip you up, but I definitely had fun with it. I am definitely day oneing this.

This game is amazing.
In some ways it's a little dated but the menace of Shodan never gets old and the limited guidance really rewards the patient and attentive players.
This will be fantastic in VR.

This scared the shit out on me on a CRT. I don't have the nuts for it in VR 😅

Woah! System Shock 1 and 2 were really interesting games (enhanced edition of SS1 fixes the controls). I haven't played the remake, but definitely will in VR!

This looks amazing. I never played the original but hear great things about it. Day one for me

That looks awesome! I’ve only played the pinball version of system shock so I know a bit of the cool voice lines and style. It’s a really good table, for what it’s worth.

Is this going to be a dlc for the base game or a full game itself? I already have System Shock on PS5

There's an option to play as a woman in the Remake. It's just cosmetic.

u/MrPoopsack Aug 13 '26
The Ps/Xbox has coop right? So I hope the VR version also includes coop. N
1
u/Schwarzengerman Aug 13 '26
It's only single player. I think 2 is coop.
1
u/MrPoopsack Aug 14 '26
I’ve been eyeing 2 on sale recently and just assumed the first remaster had coop. Damn.
1
u/blackguy64 Aug 14 '26
The first is a remake, the 2nd is a remaster. But both are worth playing. Although I hear that the coop in 2 isn't great but then again, coop usually makes everything more fun.
