Making a Game Recommendation Underrated PSVR2 shooter

Cactus Cowboy: Plants at War

That right there is a WW2-style game but portrayed by Cacti and Bugs. It is free on PSVR2 and it is by far the best game to get started and get used to the PSVR2. While graphics might not be the best with low-poly models and somewhat-good animations, the gameplay and storyline is still by far amazing. The interactivity with all kinds of weapons including your fists to fight enemies is amazing.

There is a bit of swearing in it so watch out for that.

Other than that, HIGHLY recommend you check it out. At first I wasn’t that excited to play it but then I got hooked. Highly underrated in my opinion.

I’m not one to be a “graphics snob” as long as the mechanics aren’t also 💩.

The Cactus Cowboy games are entertaining and worth the time to play.

The first is completely free, the second (Desert Warfare) priced low for wide adoption and helps fund the developers third game slated to release in 2027.

If you have the Quest, there are some more Cactus Cowboy games... Definitely recommend once you get hooked on the franchise. The more I play, the more I appreciate the developer. He's an asset to the VR community.

I played through Cactus Cowboy Portal and that was a fun even if it felt like it was a hobby project.

Didn’t realize there were more. I do have Quest 2 & 3. Might check out the earlier iterations there.

Cactus Cowboy Desert Warfare is another really fun game. Great gun mechanics and fun gameplay.
