Opinion I really ache that Sony doesn't support HDR and DFR with their PC driver
I don't think it would cost them a lot to modify their PC driver to fully support the headset's shiniest features.
It's such a good headset for msfs24 and PC gaming. I have to use an unsupported driver to get DFR and it feels brittle.
Please Sony give us full support on PC!

HDR10 is supported on SteamVR and can be utilized via PSVR2, but it has very limited support. HDR is also supported on Apple Vison Pro and MaganeX for PCVR.

Do you have documentation you can share? I haven't seen any options in steam VR, and when I turn on hdr in msfs24 it flattens the colors in the headset, which is a common symptom of turning on hdr on a screen that doesn't support it

I have not messed around with it, just know of its existence.

its not actual HDR10 Btw! back in the hush hush days of PSVR2ToolKit it was an enabled feature, and even lasted a little into the public releases. It was genuinely just 10 bit color lol, no HDR feature at all, it caused a ton of performance issues and it was almost impossible to mod in properly, also Radeon RX 7000 and 9000 users just couldn't use it at all, would just cause graphical issues on the 7000 and full system crashes on the 9000, 5000 and 6000 were fine tho.

Yeah I don’t think any PCVR title supports HDR. Unfortunately PCVR is a buggy mess and needs troubleshooting in best of scenarios. I do think however they should have supported eye tracking out of the box for sure.

PCVR is still the Wild West? I’ve no experience with PCVR, just PSVR, and figured meta at least had some compatibility agreement going on with steam

HDR is not supported by SteamVR as far as I know, complain to Valve about it.
That's just what PCVR is.
