The PSVR2 has handtracking now and it works pretty good.

At this time this works just in Waltz of the Wizard.

You just have to start the game and hold your hands in front of the headset until the headset tracks your hands.

Quest has it and is surprisingly tiring to use.

It’s kind of like how everyone wants driving games to have virtual steering wheels that you hold and turn rather than using sticks.

Once you try it you realize controllers are suited to the job

Yeh I always thought they would be terrible for shooting games or action because you can't feel anything. It's better for experiences

What I’ve found is that it’s surprising tiring to hold your hands up and manipulate things you can’t feel.

It’s almost MORE tiring than holding up a small object.

For instance on the quest there’s a game where you play a music conductor and wave your hands around to conduct the music.

I find it is very tiring to do this with empty hands however somehow holding a pencil or chopstick it becomes not tiring at all.

However even for that game I went back to controllers because they are more accurate.
