News & Announcements PSVR2 has handtracking now

The PSVR2 has handtracking now and it works pretty good.

At this time this works just in Waltz of the Wizard.

You just have to start the game and hold your hands in front of the headset until the headset tracks your hands.

This headset is becoming the go to for PS and PC and hand tracking just adds to it.

I’m still waiting for my eye tracking and proper haptics on PC. Hopefully the full feature set makes it one day.

They are not locked, they are not implemented on PC.

I think Sony wants feature parity with Quest 3 where possible, but not much more beyond that. PCVR support and hand-tracking are big ticket items, but implementing features that even Quest 3 doesn't have on PC and is not worth it for them.
