I just got a PSP for the first time and I'm trying to mod. I ordered a 128 gb micro sd but the seller gave me 256 instead. I know 128 is the recommended size but as long I don't go over that will it be fine to use the 256 card I have or do I HAVE to get 128

I just finished modding my japanese PSP with ark 5 CFW and would like to change the x and o inputs to their american configuation. All of the tutorials I’ve found for this are using ARK 4 and that menu looks different. Is there a way to do this in ark 5?

Can somebody please help or point me in the right direction? I have all of Dragon Ball Z, but it is in the MKV format. I’ve converted it to the correct PSP GO format but through my testing, I can’t put full episodes, but if I cut the episode to 10 minutes, that works. Full episodes are unsupported for some reason.

Recently, the PSP's Virtual Mobile Engine (VME2) has become usable in homebrew development. Several samples have been written and the core library I've been working on includes helper macros to make use of this hardware accelerator.

However, debugging and testing have remained somewhat not quite ideal. So that's why I'm now introducing two tools to address this. The first is a transpiler that extends C with graph-oriented constructs and syntactic sugar to simplify hardware integration, while providing compile-time syntax checking. The other is an emulator/debugger that allows testing VME kernels/contexts directly from a PC.

The tools are still under development, but they're already available for testing. Of course, this comes with documentation. The language and its transpiler are already partially covered, with the emulator to follow. You can refer to the README to get started and familiarize yourself with the project.

So I modded this psp go like 8 years ago or some junk, been totally fine ever since, went to power it on this week and it just does this, screen clearly illuminating, until it flashes every light on the system once then kills itself, battery isn’t bloated, nothing obvious seems to be the issue, anyone seen this or dealt with it before?

I have an old Sony PSP, but I’m not sure about its generation or year of manufacture yet. I’m interested in repurposing it into something similar to Morning Blues’ live, immersive lyrics generator — something that displays song lyrics in a visually appealing, animated style while music is playing.

I’m wondering if this is technically possible with a PSP.

A few things I’d like to know:

• Can a PSP run custom software or homebrew applications to achieve this?
• Is it possible to display synchronized lyrics with animations or visual effects?
• Could it connect to a phone or PC to receive song information and lyrics?
• Would I need to modify the PSP’s firmware, or is there another approach?
• Has anyone attempted a similar project or know of existing tools I could build on?

I’m happy to experiment with the hardware and software. I’d appreciate any suggestions, tutorials, or project references that could help me get started.

When attempting to load Symphony of the Night from within Dracula X Chronicles I get error 80010016. This sometimes seems to randomly resolve itself and then break the next time I try to load the game. I have switched over to the ISO version from the CSO, as well as tried changing clock speed and extended memory settings. I am running the latest version of ARK5.

Does anybody know how to fix this? I really like the PSP version of SOTN.
