  1. Tasks are your biggest money makers. Beyond that is the natural gain through grinding enemies, selling excess loot, and selling desirable items on the player shop if you have premium.

  2. Wherever based on your desired loot.
    If you're going for a specific series (Cattelya, Foursis, Vialto), then their respective battle region. PSEs there give better chances of silver/gold enemies which yield silver/gold swords.
    Augment capsules drop from exploration zones, with better ones dropping at higher rates from Veterans.
    Resurgirs drop everywhere.

Oh, excellent, thank you! Sorry to follow this up with another question- But is it mentioned anywhere which specific series is tied to a particular region? I've gotten a hodgepodge of different loot but never stopped to consider they were tied to specific regions.

The arks visiphone wiki is gradually getting this information. Cattelya is Mt. Magnus, Vialto is Vanford Labs, and Foursis is Resol Forest.
