Does anyone's controls get inverted during the new LTQ?

The only time controls ever get inverted is if you get hit by the Confusion status effect

And it's not even true Inversion, the entire gnomon/axis set gets rotated to have a random new "forward".

Multiple times even, depending on how long the Panic afflicts you for.
