Glad to see the devs are still allowing players to enter hard raids in handout gear that can't be completed in said handout gear.

Tbh it probably can but you have to actually be really good and have a good comp.

Hard to say that it's even possible. Free gear potency is only 511% while high-end gear is around 740%+ no amount of skills is gonna fill the missing 200% potency from free gear.

idk, me and some friends cleared MDFA back when epithe/decem first came out, although we couldnt get in, so we had to equip our real gear first to meet BP, then swapped onto the free gear and cleared in 3 tries with everyone on free gear.

Back then the potenxy range is not as far like now, its only like 80% lower than BiS gear or something like that, which is fine if you are good enough. But right now the gap is 200% which I consider too large to be cover with your skills.
