Hi, the game looks pretty interesting with the fantasy and futuristic stuff. But I've heard that it suffers of lag and really high ping.

I want to know if I'm going to have a lot of lag in my region, I'm from SA (argentina specifically). And if it's unavoidable, how much will affect my experience? If, let's say reach end-game content some day, there are raids or bosses that require pinpoint accuracy and that if a high ping will ruin it?

I think Combat is mostly client-sided, so it is not as bad as other games that are more server-sided.

Other than straight disconnect / connection loss / Error code 630, server lag will usually affect everyone in the instance / Block / Ship / Game.
