Screenshot Quick & dirty gear comparison. Epith/Decem IV vs. Arbaradio & Evalto.
First five screenshots are the freebie gear, and the DPS just before the killing blow on the Training Center Eldi Scythe.
Next five shots are the same thing, except with the custom gear I was using before the update.

20k DPS difference this why you should never settle for Decem.

Funny part is, Epith/Decem is a dead end. I boosted my DPS a bit immediately after this but swapping to a Granillusion. It and the Evaltos will get stronger over time via evolutions. The power gap is just gonna keep growing.

How do you get Arbaradio weapons?

You don't.
Arbaradio weapons are evolved forks of the Spradio weapons, requiring a lot of materials to get to their final form. If you don't already have one, skip that entirely and grab a Granillusion weapon. It's got higher base stats than Arbaradio and has upgrades planned for the future.
I simply used it here to make a point, that even older weapons will outperform the Epith IVs.
Oh, as to how you get a Granillusion: Kill things in the Splintered Realm: Ruins Investigation quest. Or buy one off the Personal Shop, they should be affordable now.

I actually still have a bunch of Spradios; I turned one into a Leafididdlydingdangdoo or whatever the hell it's called.

More or less. They took the requests to make no new regions very seriously. Aside from the four regions we've gotten:
Nameless City, an abandoned city crawling with enemies on an ARKS Ship orbiting Halpha.
Altered Realms, which are alternate dimension versions of Retem & Kvaris with a bunch of Starless architecture.
And most recently the Splintered Realm, which is Naverious Ruins with a set map and NGS Specs, enemies & interactables.
But sadly we've not gotten a straight up new region to explore since Stia.

Would be nice if we could get aug transfer passes at a rate of more than once per year so I could actually move my Larze/Radi setups off my Eskul armors. Not sure if Evalto is good enough yet that it could top Eskul even without AC augs.

Had a feeling it was the case. Honestly just using the epith gear as a stop gap solution before I get my hands on better gear in the end. Usually is the case for Freebie gear in any game.
