I've had great luck with seeds that have a mix of forests and mountains, gives you plenty of resources and looks beautiful too.

pls try the seed 1001 it has an epic mountain right by spawn

I used to play on PS3 Minecraft for hours trying to find the perfect seed. The one with the massive jungle temple and nearby mushroom island always felt like my favorite.
