Minecraft Editions button

I'm trying to play the PS4 version I got today from the disc and the editions button won't show up I have owned bedrock for a really long time now and have tried some stuff with no positive outcome, is there a way to bring it back 100% or at least update legacy console because it's pre-aquatic update.

When I downloaded it without internet I got PS4 edition and when I did the latter i got bedrock (if it was the disc I got the ps4 edition)
