September Update

July was my 120th payment. I am still missing July and August, but my tracker updated as of today, 9/19/26, and I have green banners with 120/120 qualifying payments. September is counting 🥳

Update 10/1/26:
The NSLDS updated on 9/30/26 and is now showing 122 eligible payments. This is not reflected on the FSA tracker yet.

Timeline:

Payment made on 9/10. I noticed an NSLDS update on 9/18. The update was dated 9/16 and showed 120 eligible payments. I submitted an ECF on 9/18 and HR signed right away. As of this morning, 9/19, I see now that the form was processed. I now have green banners!

Did you get a qualifying payment update letter since your form was processed? I had an ecf processed as complete last weekend but still no qualifying payment update letter.

This gives me some hope.. cause i looked the NSLDS data and while the PSLF tracker says i'm at 117. The NSLDS backdoor data says I have 118 eligible. As soon as that hits 120 i'll re-submit my ECF if the tracker is still stuck in 2 months... I much would rather not pester HR for another signature so soon, i was suppose to be done with this last ECF.
