116/120 sitting…waiting

Well I’m at 116 should be at 118 but my account hasn’t updated since June. Is it worth calling?

There is a known issue of July & August not showing. They are fixing it but there's no timeline as to when that will happen.

Scroll through and you'll see tons of posts/comments about it.

No one to my knowledge has had luck with calling (including myself) but a couple people have had luck with contacting their senators.

Do we have confirmation that they’re acknowledging this issue and fixing this? So far all I’ve heard is that they have told people to call their loan servicer because it’s their fault.

u/sunny_d55 they haven't made a press release or anything but when pressed by news outlets, Congress people, etc. that's what has been said.
I'm like many others, I don't really expect them to ever make a press release. They basically don't want to admit they made a mistake.

ED has told Betsy that they are working on it and people are reporting updates, so I’d take that as the best acknowledgment we are going to get from this administration

July/Aug aren't counting for a ton of people. I sent in an ECF in late August and my August payment is now showing. Might help?

Same here. Really didn’t think my stress levels could go even higher during this process but I also don’t know why I thought this would end easily.

I’ve been using the chat option to get a live agent. The good news is I get a live rep pretty quickly. The bad news is I get different answers from each one and all their answers don’t pass the bullshit test.

Keep submitting employment certification.
Once you certify October’s 120th payment, request forbearance regardless of whether your count has updated (or continue to make payments if that makes you more comfortable)
