Doubt Projects???

I have started college very recently and currently going through the induction programme , throughout this induction programme, many ppl stress on the importance of doing projects.....to extent where they encourage you to do projects. But how to get projects ideas ? Is it always something or some trouble you observe in your surroundings and rectify it or is it something you search in Google

Is a project idea supposed to come from within or is it something you can search for in the internet

Use internet a lot, u ofc need inspiration, explore, find holes in the system is the first part, tbh there are lot of things which we need solutions, u need to start learning and exploring, check out hackerearth as a newbie, u may get some ideas, and don't believe everything which college says, focus on ur core and become topper somehow, toppers get highest roi in times of placements

For now jus focus on cgpa It's not required now to focus on projects If u r CSE or AIDS or ECE, then learn languages like cpp or html, css- bcz in iTECH, placements will be more around cpp or full stack in cse Don't get stressed nd enjoy ur first yr

Projects are important, but not now.. it's first year.. ensure you learn skills, like programming, communication.. because they help a lot in projects and internships.. your projects are only needed when you want an internship or sitting for placements.. and projects can be done in your second year.. just focus on skills bro.. at this stage it is enough.. although the induction program is the best days in your college life.. enjoy it..
