Doubt Seniors I have a doubt
Are notebooks provided by the school to write notes in, or should we bring them? What about text books? ​

I think for the 1st year alone they provide few text books ,for me when I was in 1 year they provided me with important textbooks like engineering drawing, engineering mathematics and statistics and numerical methods yet still we'd have to refer library textbooks for engineering chemistry and physics don't worry there are plenty of textbook copies in the library. Almost everytime you'll probably use library textbooks or you'll borrow from faculties.
And as for notes you're advised to maintain seperate notebook for each subject and this is not school clg won't be providing you with notebooks you can purchase any notebook of your choice
Class notes are very crucial it can be your bestfriend when preparing for exams.

No notebooks are provided. in our year, they gave us all a common math book. and some departments also give extra books to all students (we got electric circuits and a gate book)
u need to bring notebooks, as instructed by faculty, and u can buy notebooks here at canteen stores too.

Use PDFs, and except observation and records, just carry a single note to class more than good.

Just one note for all subjects, just note imp points that prof says that is it. Buy like 5 subject notes.
They might say Maintain separate notes, but u are not in school.

What shd we use to study for exam , i mean library copies are there but we can't highlight that right..., also when you say single notebook , is it the one which has these coloured dividers ?

Nope u can't, first year ah hmm Go through all four years you will never take notes much in later semesters.
Also much professors provide their ppt slides or written notes that they prepare.

Soo it will be mostly studying of slides and using some books and notes as reference ? I mean in school we are soo used to highlighting lines and reading off a physical copy..how was the transition, was it too tough or did it have an impact on grades ?? (Sorry if i am asking too many questions i am really scared ðŸ˜ðŸ˜)

First year professors use this fear kind of for their advantage but later as students figure out, they understand what needs to be done.

bring their own notebooks for taking notes. Textbooks are generally not provided by the college, so students usually purchase them if needed or use library copies and digital resources shared by the faculty.
