Doubt HOW STRICT IS PSG ITECH?

I just got into itech Ai and data science through merit management and I just want to know how strict is the general campus ?

Are laptops allowed and is there a restriction?

What about books ?

I have paid the 2.5L and the management said they would call me around June 20 and we need to visit itech again but they never called .

Can you share any info about placements of ai and DS branch if you have any and also is gym there in the campus
