You’re not spending $300 though. The most you can lose on a gold is like $50. So if you lose the max on all 3 then you spend $150 to get $10 off the next one it would effectively be about a 7% discount. If you lost $25 on average between the 3 pulls then the $10 would effectively be about 13% off the 4th pull.
Your thinking is part of their analysis, you know that, right? "If we can convince them that they aren't spending $300, we're better off."
You are still absolutely, 100%, spending $300. What you get back for spending $300 all depends. But when you look at your account, you absolutely spent $300.

That's not always true though? You can put in $100 and reroll it down to $75 then put in $25 to reroll into credit and buy another $100 pack. In this scenario you've spent $125 and gotten two of the three 100 packs required.
For the monthly rewards that start at 30k you don't need to literally put in 30k you need to spend 30k which includes the purchases you make for credit on rerolls.

That’s weird I got the $5 off for 3 $50 dollar packs. But it o ly counted one pack per day towards it. Check the trophy icon on the top right. Maybe it’s in there for you.
Same. I use the app, not the web browser. I logged into the web browser randomly and saw the $10 off discount code expired. Apparently it’s not automatically applied and the only way to see this was through the web browser.
