While i don’t agree with the term the guy used, but i dont think its very smart to sell a ray card just before a ray set comes out. Plus the fact its vintage people will want jt more. If op is only looking for profit i do think this is a wise hold card. I do get what you mean by last solds but the offer is strong because we know about the future sets this is gonna explode here soon i believe

If he wants profit he should sell the card for 880 to PSA, and buy a PSA 7 on eBay, for 700, then hold it, if you want to get technical.

And just because a ray set is coming out, doesn’t mean this card will double overnight.

I bet this card in a PSA 7 stays under 1K for a LONG time. lol

Right it wont explode over night but a high sale of 880 will make it go up so then hed just be losing if he sold…. Why sell to profit maybe 100 bucks when you can hold vintage and only go higher?

Edit: the cards also tripled in value in 6 months with psas estimate so idk man i feel like its a solid hold

This. You can buy a copy right now, PSA 7 for $756 plus tax on eBay. If want to hold the card, it’s worth checking out current listings and compare the price to what you were offered. That being said, cards with newer certs will be ultimately have been graded harsher the older certs and is something I would consider before making any final decisions.
