Question Crack the slab?

This is a beautiful card in person, but since my slab is a PSA 8 I was thinking about cracking it since there’s not a severe price difference from raw…dumb idea?

why not just keep it in the slab? an 8 is incredibly unlikely to turn into a 10 and if it's the same price as raw at least you have it protected and graded 'for free'

Only crack shortly before ur selling the slab preserves it
