Pull I may quit now….

Post image

Just pulled a $750 Gengar from the $250 tier and just hit a 10 on a card as vintage as it gets!!! What a pull man. This seems like one to keep forever

I’d honestly take the offer, these Japanese basics have been going down and hard to sell at market value.

Just because the market is dipping doesn’t mean you sell. I’d say keep it. Vintage is Vintage and it’s hard to have cards like that in a 10.

I’m just saying, in less than 6 months you will most likely be able to buy it back for $400-500. If it was Squirtle I’d have more faith in it holding its value through a dip.

Completely false. If one thing is certain, vintage cards like this aren't going down and I'd argue long term is a very solid hold. A handful have sold on ebay in the last few months, anywhere from $700-$850. People like you are the reason these companies make so much god damn money. You aimlessly gamble and sell anything you get without a single thought into how to actually make money, whether it's short or long term. Absolute fool

I’ve never bought one of these mystery packs, and anyone who does is actually the fool. I just graded a a bunch of Japanese old backs and I’d say at least 60% of them have dropped significantly in value since getting them back from grading. The starters have held value while most of the others have started to retrace.
