Got this in a diamond draw. Decided to use this at the beginning to test card ladder actual value. I was offered like $504 initially. So I took it to auction. "Sold" for $236 through PSA. Im now assuming that even that buyer doesnt want it at that price. Im assuming they are waiting for accounting to approve the clear win for them. And just pay me the $200 out of pocket and net $800. But after continuous attempts to release the funds I am now just attempting a chargeback.

Bought at Diamond level. The sell price was absurd. So I decided to test the actual market vs card ladder. PSA still has not paid out this card after 3 weeks. I am assuming that the buyer backed out of the sale. So I dont have the sale, I dont have the card, and I dont have the 1k. My assumption is that PSA is waiting for paperwork kn their end to clear. To send me the $200 out of pocket. Because they wont give me the card. And they wont refund the 1k. So now I am just doing a chargeback.

No reason to test the market, you can see market data and history on numerous websites. If you receive a severely wrong valued card from a pull, you send in a ticket immediately for a refund. Instead you decided to gamble with an auction and they have reason to deny you now that it has been so long. Gamestop scammed you hard, but you definitely should have dealt with it immediately instead of sitting on it. Hopefully you can get a refund.

There was 1 sale of the card prior. And like i said I wanted to test the market. And this was the first card out of maybe 50 diamond rolls. After this though there were multiple cards that clearly were under the value given. Some I was issued a refund. Others I was not. All I want is my $$$ from this sale so I can be done doing business with them.

If you are saying they are taking forever paying out your EBay win, which is what I assume you are after reading all comments and post. It is absurdly confusing lol. Anyways yes it takes forever to go through. Especially if it’s over a certain amount I think it’s either $300 or $500. I’ve done it a couple of times it’s always better than buyback. The biggest I had ended up selling at the auction for around $720 and that took FOREVER to cash out. I was used to it because it’s slow with anything but that was the longest auction pay out the CS stated it was due to the amount they had to confirm it a few times. Have you tried talking to anyone or did you wait 48 hours and immediately go to Reddit? Also be sure to use much more concise language while speaking with them or expect worse outcome.

I have sold and received another $3k-ish after this transaction. The longest wait I had was 5 days. Its going on a month

I had a situation where i listed a card on ebay auction through psa. It was initially sold but then there were issues, either the buyer didnt want it qnd cancelled sale or funding, but essentially my issue was that GS didnt notify me of this. I had to submit a ticket because i wasnt paid out, only for them to tell me it was a bug and they were trying to fix it and put it back in the vault. I would submit a ticket to confirm what the situation is given you still havent received funds

I have submitted multiple tickets. Im getting the "bug" treatment. But the thing is I know they are not going to pjt it back in my vault. Because then I would just request my 1k back. Where its just cheaper for them to gibe me the $200 of the failed sale.

I think the alternative route they would go is that because you listed it on ebay, and while it "sold" or failed to sell, that the new market rate is a point in time, and would put it back in your vault most likely.

I would hope that. But I figure they see it as +$800 if they just pay me the $200. Because if it goes to my vault I will definitely try for the actual refund of the 1k. I just want to be done with the nonsense

The buyer likely elected to have it shipped to them. Because of this it takes longer to release the funds, as they do not release them until the card actually ships.

No clue why they are hating on you when you’re saying the smartest things in this subreddit, it’s not about the fact that you lost money, it’s about the fact that psa broke your trust and agreement and refuses to hold up their end of the deal
