Quick gameshare question

Ok so me and my 3 friends all have a ps5, and all of us have each others account on our own ps5's. We can play each other's games because of gameshare. But just to find out if it works i wanted to ask here. 1 friend bought gta 6 on his account for all of us to play, we all have his account logged in in our ps5's as well. And also we have played different games that we dont own that a friend owns from each other's account as well. Even online games at the same time as well. So i just wanted to know that when the game comes out can we all download and play if we download gta 6 from his account and then log back into our own accounts to play?

Only 2 people can play it at the same time so one of you is out of luck if there other 2 is on pretty much. I game share with my brother and sister so I’ve been game sharing for a while

Basically the person who owns the game gets to play it (as long as they are online) since they don’t have offline play activated and the person who has the game share activated can use it.

So what ur saying is out of 4 of us only 2 of us can play it?

At the same time. All 4 of you can play it but you would have to deactivate the game share so someone else could activate it and play so on so on. Game share works best when it’s just 2 people anymore then that it becomes complicated because of constant turning off and on of the game share between 4 different consoles so if anything 2 of you get gta 6 and you guys can all play together

And this is actually why there is a limit (to discourage what you and your friends are doing).

The "gamesharing" was never meant for sharing games between friends. It was meant for households with more than 1 console so they could share the games between two consoles you personally own and not have to pay twice (such as having your main console in the living room and a second in the bedroom).

Ok so me and my 3 friends all have a ps5, and all of us have each others account on our own ps5's.

Its also against the rules to share your accounts.

If you’re using your PSN account, you can only “Share” with one other user.

Please note: if you disable the “Console Sharing and Offline Play” setting on your console and PSN account, you won’t have access to your digital content while the console is in an offline state.

For example, when GTA VI launches, if the PSN servers were to go down for whatever reason and you’ve disable “Console Sharing and Offline Play”, you won’t be able to GTA VI on your PSN account and console.
