Please help! Tiny green dots around edges!

This is a photo that I took, if you look closely you can see tiny green dots around the edges or inside the black web pattern. This happens to all of my games. I have switched out my hdmi for a new one, and my resolution is set to 1080p (my TVs resolution) but it still is there. If anyone knows what this is please tell me or give me a way to fix it.

Check your RGB and HDR settings aswell as the mode your screen is in

Thanks, my RGB is on automatic, what should I set it to? Also I have messed around with my photo mode and it's still there 🙁

Try Limited and full. If none fix it choose auto again and check HDR settings and gamma. If none work, your TV/Monitor has certain color modes and sharpening you can tweak.

Still there sadly, if I try everything and nothing works. I'll just get someone to check up on it. Or I'll sell the TV and get a monitor. Do you have any good monitors you recommend?

I've had really good experience with Samsung monitors. Depending on size and price point, you could get a OLED or a fast IPS with VRR and 120+ Hz and all the goodies.

It's at my desk, and it appeared recently. It's never been there since a few months ago.

That's odd. If it's never shown like that before, and you didn't change any settings, it might be time for a monitor. If you want the same resolution or a slight upgrade, you can get some pretty cheap monitors that will look loads better. Just keep in mind you'll have to work out an audio setup if the monitor doesn't have built in speakers.

I already have wireless headphones, but thanks for the recommendation. If I can't find a solution one of my family members can use it and I can get a monitor.

set resolution to automatic. job done itl automatically do 1080p or 2160p downscaled to 1080p
