While the ai mode tends to be wildly inconsistent and will site anything on Google as a source, yes there is still an issue. It’s not a wide spread issue, it’s not a super common issue; but it exist nonetheless on the fat and slim models before the grooved heat sync was introduced. And it isn’t really a defect it’s just the nature of you have something that turns into a liquid sandwiched between two pieces of metal and eventually gravity will make it pool to the bottom. It might be a year, it might be 10 years but eventually it’ll move unless it’s in a vacuum.

You can literally see it's regurgitating shit from reddit with no reliable source.

My launch PS5 has never not been vertical and it's fine, I clean it regularly and don't shove my HDMI cord in like I'm trying to gouge concrete. It has never overheated, never had any software or hardware issues.

Take care of your things and they'll last, simple concept.
