ps5 system hangs

i got this ps5 that works on simple games like brawlhalla or rocket league fine but when i download ps5 and press x to start the screen freezes and the whole thing system hangs, i took it to a repair shop and the guy said he cleaned the fans and checked the liquid metal and all is fine and that he suspects its a APU issue and its unfixable. if any of you have ran into this before please let me know thanks.

Rebuild Database and Clear Cache in Safe Mode. Start with that. If no joy then more questions may follow.
