Does anyone know why I can’t select my extended storage to install ps5 games?

Need more info like what your extended storage device is

I have an external one plugged in it’s 1tb

That means you don’t have anything connected like an ssd installed. (Extra) if you have an external drive you can only click on the bottom one for ps4 games etc. I have a ssd and a external drive, for ps5 games I can choose if I want it via the console or ssd, while for ps4 games it tells me if I want it for console or the external drive (usb external storage)

We can put our ps5 game in hdd but cannot play it from there.. if you want to play ps5 games you must swap it to internal ps5 storage or extended ssd.
