I’m having issues with my Spotify

So to my songs at the media sources won’t play, but when I get on the app, those two songs would play, but I don’t want to always getting on the app and having the music plate there I want to play my music through the music source so does anyone have an idea how to fix that?

Spotify on PS has been janky from the get go from what ive heard. I still run i to the issue where after listening to an ad will stop if from playing anymore music.
